Over 350 Hotels to Emerge in Moscow in 4 Years
Moscow government has sealed the general plan for hotels whereabouts in the city, Prime-TASS reported. As many as 353 hotels capable of hosting 118,000 will emerge in Russia’s capital in four years.
It looks like Moscow will have 556 hotels by the end of 2010 instead of the current 203. The better part of them (131) will emerge in the downtown, while the northeast will have just 26 new hotels, the east will benefit from 21 and 38 and 30 hotels will be built in the west and the north respectively. In class, the hotels will range from the most expensive ones targeted at fat cats and celebrities to facilities of two-/three stars.

In view of announced figures, Moscow will have a new hotel each fortnight. The rates will go up four fold in 2008, as constructors are expected to build a hundred hotels during that year.
